The semi-after. The wall paint would not dry. UGH!! This meant no taping of the lines without pulling all the paint off the wall. So I will be heading back in a few weeks to complete the Pac-man awesomeness. You get a good idea of what it will be like when completed though. So fun!

When Tina and I get together we ALWAYS have a project to do. This time it was Logan's room. This is the before.

May 29th

We came to Columbia SC for memorial day weekend. It was nice to go to the temple. The first time since my brother passed which proved to be an emotional disaster for me. Oh well. I was happy for the peace and assurance of the gospel. It was an entirely unexpected emotional reaction. It was the longest hardest cry I had and it happened in public. LAME. I hate crying. In fact I rarely ever ever cry. DOUBLE LAME.

Koda pounces things like a cat. It makes me laugh every time he does it.
This is Natalie playing with him. She is going to be 10 in a couple of months. DOUBLE DIGITS! I can't believe it. She is turning into such a gorgeous girl. What woman out there wouldn't kill for that hair? She was 5 points shy of acing all her EOG's this year. I'm so proud of who she is growing into but wish she would stop growing!

Brilliant blue dragonfly in the brush. Pretty :)

May 22

I love my husband. I eat this way often because of him. Restaurant quality food at home. YUMMY! We had no kids at home so he cooked this for just me and him and ate outside together to enjoy the evening. Eat your hearts out ladies. He cooks for me every night. LOVE YOU BABE. (and your food) ;)

May 19

This is a painting I've been working on for my churches primary. (little kids classes) I add something to it every month showing the theme of the month and their progress getting there life closer to the Savior's. It's turning out really cute. =)

May 18

I've been painting more lately. This is a a painting I just made for my bathroom. I used metallic gold paint so that when the light hits the birds they shine over the dreary gray and rainy background. Maybe a little symbolic. It was a hard month. But I know I have felt the light of Christ and the prayers offered on my family's behalf which has strengthened and grown my testimony of the atonement even more. Many good experiences amongst the sadness where I have felt the presence of my brother and the comfort of the spirit. Also been given words to say to those close to me with HUGE trials of there own. Like I said...hard month...LOVE how the painting came out. :)

May 18

It's been a rainy couple of days here in the Charlotte area. The cooler air that's coming with it feels nice. :)

May 17

Cookout with the Cummings. These are the best kind of childhood memories! :)

May 16

It's getting hot outside and the pools don't open for a few weeks so out comes the waterslide. The kids love this thing. Here's Emily and one of her best friends getting ready to go for a ride!

May 15

My emily cheesing. I can't believe how big she is getting.

May 14

This is how I spent most of my week. Curled up with a book. I was just wanting to relax this week so I did as much of it as my little family allowed.

May 13

Old mill at Sloan park. Madison's had her field trip here. After all the kids left Emily went to play in the creek there and Koda took his first swim.

May 12

It's strawberry season here in the carolina's. So I couldn't resist the urge to make some homemade shortcake.
This is a staple in my house this time of year. A bad staple...but it sure does taste good!! YUMMINESS!

May 11

Baby birds learn to fly day at the Vlazny home. This one kept trying to fly through my window. It took him about 2 hours to get smarter. It was an entertaining day at the expense of the little guys.

May 10

Meagan with her birthday present. Happiness!

May 9

So sometimes it's really strange to look at this small crowd of people and think to myself "YOWSERS, I built that." :D
Happy mother's day to all of the mommies out there!!

May 8

My baby sister Meagan wants to be a mermaid. No she isn't 5 she'll be 22 in just a few weeks. So for her birthday I painted her as a mermaid. I'm pretty happy with how it came out especially since I don't make a habit of painting people. She will be leaving on tour so I wanted to give it to her before she will be gone for the summer.

May 7

My carnations in the front of my house are taking over and in full bloom right now. They are sooo pretty. :)

May 6

My Madison learning how to roller blade on this nice spring evening.

May 5

So I took this earlier on in the week but I have to put it up. This is my little boyfriend Elliott. I sort of LOVE him. He always has the cutest expressions on his face. Like in this one!! Check out those sweet little inquisitive eyebrows. Don't you just want to eat him up!

May 4

When I took the dogs out this morning something had caught Koda's attention. One of the baby birds had fallen out of the nest and Koda was just staring at it. My distaste for birds wasn't enough to overpower the sympathy for the little baby succumbing to a fate of inevitable digestion so I put on one of Nathan's leather gloves and saved the little guy. GOOD DEED DONE FOR THE DAY! YUCK! I didn't want to touch it....:P

May 3

Nathan started whistling and the baby birds went crazy looking for food from their un-present mother. It was hilarious to me.

May 2

My dogs have become the best of friends...which is a really good thing seeing how thats why we bought Koda. It would have been entirely LAME if they ended up hating each other.

May 1

I LOVE this about my neighborhood. Especially the street we live on. So many good boys for my son to play with. It's just to cute.
